Several full-size pickups are used as cars, particularly the 4-door staff cab and extended-cab versions, which have back chairs. GM thus can be emphasizing the same top features of its 2007 Silverado/Sierra pickup truck that are mentioned when new autos are usually discussed: stiffer physiques and frames, more safety features, nicer decorations, better aerodynamics, softer ride and higher gas mileage. (Carryover 1999-2006 models are sold because Silverado Classic and GMC Sierra Basic.)
New Features
The new Silverado offers some inches longer as well as 1.5 inches wider. It directs and handles better, thanks to such things as a new fully boxed framework, new rack-and-pinion steering along with a new front insides with coil-over shock absorbers. Front and rear tracks also are bigger for greater steadiness. In fact, directional balance is outstanding.
